Red Rose

I have done this lovely Red Rose using watercolors and adding pen-ink around the rose. I had started with the idea to make it an ink and bleed artwork but the ink would not run for me so i just added more detail with the pen-and-ink once it had dried. but i am happy with how it as come out for me anyway, as the effect is lent to by the natural bleed of the watercolors on canvas. Also like the way I have framed the rose using line patterns around it.
