The Moon & Sunrise

The way I have painted this piece which is Acrylic on canvas was to look like the water and sides escape the negative space frame. I Do feel that I achieved what I was aiming for with the ocean water to look as though it were moving as well as the glow of the sun and the moon diffusing and reflecting across the ocean water.

The tones of colours from blue to dark blue including purple and subtle tones of pink I feel reflect some of the more beautiful sunrises and sets I have witnessed. This is one of my favourite pieces that I have done, I love to look at and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and if you purchase you can look at it every day or carry a bit of sunshine with you always!
